Triveni Sangam Boat Ride Booking
A Triveni Sangam boat ride takes you out from Sangam Ghat to the exact point where the Ganga, Yamuna and the mythical Saraswati meet. Choose a shared public boat with fellow pilgrims, or book a private boat just for your group. We don’t list rates on this page because they shift with season and demand — message us on WhatsApp and we’ll confirm the current verified rate and boat availability in minutes.
Choose Your Boat Type
Three ways to ride the Sangam — pick by how much time and privacy you want, then confirm the exact rate on WhatsApp.
| Boat Type | Seating | Duration | What to Expect | Rate |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Shared public boat | Per person, shared with other pilgrims | ~15–20 min | Departs once the boat fills up. The simplest, most affordable way to reach the confluence. | Ask on WhatsApp → |
| Standard private boat | 6–10 people, whole boat | 30–45 min | Departs immediately, no waiting for other passengers. Good for families and small groups. | Ask on WhatsApp → |
| Premium private boat | 6–10 people, whole boat | 1 hr+ | Cushioned seating, a ritual platform for mid-river puja, and multiple stops along the confluence. | Ask on WhatsApp → |
Kumbh Mela, Mauni Amavasya & Makar Sankranti: boat demand and rates both rise sharply on these dates. We won’t hide that from you — message us before you travel so you know exactly what to expect and aren’t caught off guard at the ghat.

Avoiding Overcharging at the Ghat
Touts quoting inflated on-the-spot rates are a real, common complaint at Sangam Ghat. Here’s how to make sure that doesn’t happen to you.
Get your rate in writing first
Message us on WhatsApp before you reach the ghat. The rate we confirm in that chat is what you pay — treat any different quote at the ghat itself as a red flag.
Deal with our named contact
We’ll tell you who to look for at the ghat when we confirm your booking. You don’t need to negotiate with whoever approaches your car first.
Keep the WhatsApp chat open
If anyone at the ghat quotes you more than what we confirmed, show them the chat. It’s your proof of the agreed rate.
Ask before you board, not after
Confirm the final amount before stepping onto the boat, not once you’re already out on the water. A verified booking means there’s nothing left to negotiate once you board.
Best Time for a Sangam Boat Ride
Early morning
Calm water, river mist and the fewest crowds. Best if you want a quiet ride and clear photos of the confluence.
Evening aarti time
Ghats lit up for the evening aarti, with the ceremony visible from the water. Busier, and boats book out faster — message us early in the day to hold a slot.
Frequently Asked Questions
Rates depend on the boat type, group size and season, and change during peak periods like Kumbh Mela, Mauni Amavasya and Makar Sankranti. We don’t publish rates on this page because they shift too often to keep accurate here — message us on WhatsApp with your date and group size and we’ll confirm the current verified rate before you travel.
A shared public boat is about 15 to 20 minutes. A standard private boat runs 30 to 45 minutes. A premium private boat with a ritual platform typically stays out for an hour or more with multiple stops.
Shared public boats seat pilgrims individually and depart once the boat fills. Standard and premium private boats seat 6 to 10 people, so you can book the whole boat for your family or group.
Ritual items aren’t automatically included. If you want to perform a puja mid-river on the premium boat’s ritual platform, tell us when you enquire on WhatsApp so we can arrange it in advance.
Yes. Cancellation and rescheduling are handled directly over WhatsApp once your booking is confirmed. Tell us as early as possible, especially during Kumbh Mela and other peak dates when demand is high.
For a normal day, a same-day WhatsApp message before you leave for the ghat is usually enough. During Kumbh Mela, Mauni Amavasya, Makar Sankranti and other major bathing dates, message us at least a few days ahead since boats fill up.
